Biography:

I am a dedicated birth and postpartum doula with a strong commitment to maternal health and family-centered care. I support individuals and families through the transformative experiences of pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period, ensuring they feel informed, empowered, and emotionally supported at every stage.

With a calm, compassionate, and nurturing approach, I provide continuous emotional support, practical comfort measures, and evidence-based guidance tailored to each family’s unique needs. My work is grounded in fostering confidence, promoting informed decision-making, and creating a supportive environment where parents feel heard and respected.

I consider it a privilege to support families as they welcome their babies and begin their journey into parenthood, offering steady, professional care during one of life’s most significant transitions.

Why did you become a doula?: I became a doula because I have always felt deeply drawn to maternal health and the strength of women’s bodies. The ability to create, carry, and bring life into the world is something I see as powerful and meaningful, and I feel honored to support families during this transition.

My passion for this work is also personal. Carrying the memory of my twin sister has shaped how I see life — as something sacred and precious — and it has deepened my desire to support families with compassion, care, and presence.

As a doula, I hope to help parents feel supported, informed, and empowered so they never have to walk through pregnancy, birth, or postpartum feeling alone.

What is your personal connection to birth/family/community?: My connection to birth and families comes from a deep appreciation for how powerful and transformative this time is in a person’s life. I believe that pregnancy, birth, and the early days of parenthood are not only physical experiences but emotional and relational ones that deserve care, understanding, and support.

Personally, my journey has shaped how I view life as something sacred and meaningful, and it has strengthened my desire to walk alongside families with compassion and presence. I feel strongly that when parents feel supported, it positively impacts their children and the wider community as well.

Supporting families during this transition is my way of contributing to healthier, more connected communities and helping parents feel confident, heard, and cared for as they grow their families.

What is your philosophy of doula care?: My philosophy as a doula is rooted in the belief that pregnancy, birth, and postpartum are powerful and deeply meaningful transitions that deserve compassionate, respectful, and individualized support. I believe every parent should feel heard, informed, and emotionally supported so they can make decisions that feel right for them and their family.

I approach my work with a calm, nurturing presence, focusing on creating a space where families feel safe, empowered, and never alone. I see birth not only as a physical process, but as an emotional and transformative experience, and I aim to support parents in a way that honors their strength, values, and unique journey into parenthood.

Who is your ideal client?: My ideal client is a parent or family who values emotional support, education, and a nurturing presence during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I work best with families who want to feel informed, heard, and empowered in their decisions and who are open to having a calm, supportive guide alongside them throughout their journey.

I am especially drawn to supporting families who may feel nervous, overwhelmed, or uncertain, and who want reassurance and compassionate care as they prepare to welcome their baby. My goal is to create a safe, respectful space where each family feels supported in the choices that are right for them.
