Biography:
As a mother of three daughters, my passion for supporting families began with my own experiences through pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding. Those journeys inspired me to become a doula, lactation specialist, and childbirth educator dedicated to helping parents feel confident and supported.
Why did you become a doula?
I became a doula because I am passionate about supporting and empowering families during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I believe every parent deserves to feel informed, heard, and supported as they make decisions that are right for their family.
What is your personal connection to birth/family/community?
My connection to birth and family is both personal and professional. As a mother, I understand how powerful and vulnerable the journey into parenthood can be. Family is the foundation of strong communities, and I am passionate about supporting families during this transformative time.
What is your philosophy of doula care?
I believe every family deserves compassionate, respectful care and access to accurate, evidence-based information. My goal is to empower parents with education, support, and advocacy so they feel confident, informed, and supported throughout their birth and postpartum journey.
Who is your ideal client?
A family who is open to support, wants to feel informed, and values having someone steady by their side during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. They don’t need to have all the answers—they just need to be willing to ask questions, stay engaged, and work together as a team to make decisions that feel right for them.
