Biography:
I am a nursing student with a deep passion for supporting birthing people and caring for newborns. While I have always been interested in nursing, this path is more than an interest to me—it is truly my calling. I find purpose in helping others during some of the most important and vulnerable moments of their lives.
I am especially passionate about working with young parents, including teens, who often face unique challenges and need compassionate, nonjudgmental care and support. At the same time, I am committed to caring for people of all ages and backgrounds, because I believe every individual deserves respectful and high-quality healthcare.
My goal is to grow into a nurse who provides comfort, education, and advocacy for all patients, while helping families feel empowered and supported throughout their healthcare journeys.
Why did you become a doula?
I’ve always been the kind of person who wants to be there for others, especially during big, emotional moments in their lives. I bring a lot of openness, calm energy, and genuine care into the space. To me, birth isn’t just a medical thing, it’s a really personal and powerful experience, and I wanted to help people feel supported, comfortable, and not alone during it. I love being someone who can listen, reassure, and just be a steady presence when things might feel overwhelming.
Becoming a doula felt right because it’s about connection, trust, and helping people feel confident in themselves. I just want whoever I’m supporting to feel safe, heard, and like they have someone truly on their side.
What is your personal connection to birth/family/community?
As a girl surrounded by so much life, I’ve always felt the energy of my family and community shaping who I am. They’ve taught me love, strength, and how to appreciate the joy in everyday moments. Being raised in that environment makes me want to pass that joy on to others through kindness and the way I live my life.
What is your philosophy of doula care?
Doula care is rooted in the understanding that birth is both a physiological process and a deeply personal, transformative life experience. Drawing from principles of patient-centered care and reproductive justice, I believe every birthing person deserves to feel informed, respected, and supported in their autonomy.
Who is your ideal client?
I work best with clients who are open to communication, trust the process, and are willing to engage in building a supportive and positive birth experience together while still honoring their own intuition and personal choices. I welcome individuals from all backgrounds and aim to create a space where they feel comfortable, respected, and empowered.
