Biography:

My journey into doula work began with a passion for caring for families during one of the most special times in their lives. For years, I have dedicated to supporting parents, families and newborns through the postpartum journey. Through this work, I discovered that my passion extends beyond the postpartum period and begins at the very start of the birth journey. This inspired me to expand my practice as a birth doula, where I now support families during pregnancy, labor, and delivery with the same warmth, advocacy, and dedication that has guided my postpartum care.

Why did you become a doula?:

I became a Doula because it has always been a passion of mine to care for and support families. For the past 11 years, since I began working at the age of 16 I have always worked in positions where I had the privilege of building meaningful connections with parents and children. I have also always been drawn to birth, labor, and newborns. It is something so special and I have always felt that it is my calling.

What is your personal connection to birth/family/community?:

I am deeply connected to birth, family, and community. Birth has always been a calling to me. I have always been fascinated by birth and how beautiful of an experience it is. Family means the absolute world to me. My community is also extremely important to me, because it is made up of others just like me, with similar culture backgrounds and experiences.

What is your philosophy of doula care?:

Because birth and postpartum are both such sacred times, I believe that every family deserves to feel deeply cared for during this journey.

Who is your ideal client?:

My ideal client would be someone who also wants to build a relationship of trust and communication with me
