Biography: I am a compassionate birth worker dedicated to supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey. With a background in maternal and newborn care, I am passionate about helping parents feel informed, confident, and supported as they welcome their babies into the world.

As a doula serving the Hispanic community, I strive to provide culturally respectful care and evidence-based education so families can make empowered decisions about their birth experience. I believe every family deserves continuous support, clear information, and a calm, encouraging presence during one of the most meaningful moments of their lives.

My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where parents feel heard, respected, and prepared for birth and early parenthood.

Why did you become a doula?: I became a doula because I have always felt a deep passion for supporting mothers and families during pregnancy and birth. I have seen how powerful continuous emotional and physical support can be for a birthing person. Birth is a life-changing experience, and I wanted to be someone who helps families feel safe, informed, and confident during that journey.

Being present during such an important moment and helping families advocate for their needs is incredibly meaningful to me.

What is your personal connection to birth/family/community?: My connection to birth comes from my passion for maternal and newborn health and my commitment to supporting families in my community. I believe that strong support during pregnancy and birth helps build healthier families and stronger communities.

As someone who works closely with families and newborns, I understand how important compassionate care, education, and advocacy are during this time. I feel honored to support families through such a transformative moment in their lives.

What is your philosophy of doula care?: My philosophy of doula care is centered on respect, empowerment, and continuous support. I believe every birthing person deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported in their choices.

I provide emotional support, comfort measures, and evidence-based information so families can make decisions that align with their values and preferences. My role is not to replace medical providers but to work alongside them while ensuring that families feel confident and cared for throughout pregnancy, labor, and birth.

Birth is a powerful and personal experience, and my goal is to help families navigate it with confidence, calm, and support.

Who is your ideal client?: My ideal client is a family who values education, emotional support, and compassionate care throughout pregnancy and birth. I love supporting first-time parents as well as families welcoming another baby who want to feel confident, informed, and empowered during their birth experience. I am especially passionate about serving diverse families in my community who may benefit from culturally respectful care and strong advocacy during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.
